Fortnite Made $9 Billion in Two Years

The game generated $5.4 billion in 2018 and $3.7 billion in 2019.

Epic Games' Fortnite managed to make $9 billion in two years, court documents from the Epic vs Apple trial state. A finance board presentation from January 2020, revealed during the first day of the trial, says that the company made $5.4 billion in 2018 and $3.7 billion in 2019 ($9.1 billion in two years).

The company predicted that Fortnite would make $2.7 billion in 2020 but The Verge reports that they managed to get $5.1 billion. As for the performance of other Epic games, revenue from Psyonix games, Battle Breakers and Spyjinx reached $108 million in two years (2018 and 2019).

The Epic Games Store made $235 million in two years. Epic has also recently revealed they spent around $444 million in 2020 to attract more PC gamers.
