Forza Motorsport Will Offer 60 FPS with Ray Tracing

There are three modes to choose from.

Turn 10 and Xbox have released a gameplay video of Forza Motorsport, and it looks like something a racing fan would absolutely love.

However, the fun and adrenaline you get from such games don't matter much if you can't enjoy the visuals. There is nothing to worry about though as the game promises to run at 60 FPS with ray tracing. Well, if you have an Xbox Series X and choose the right graphics, of course.

According to VGC, there are three modes for the Series X: Performance, Performance RT, and Visuals.

Performance offers 60 frames per second at a 4K resolution, while Performance RT adds ray tracing and still allows 60 FPS to work their magic. However, it will dynamically drop the 4K to a lower resolution to keep the performance stable. Finally, there is the Visuals mode, which goes all out in terms of graphics but lowers frames to 30 per second.

Unfortunately, the Series S owners won't be able to enjoy the same luxury. You won't find ray tracing here, but you can still choose between Performance (60 FPS with variable resolution) and Quality (30 FPS at maximum resolution.)

If you'd like to get the best out of your game on PC, you'll need Intel i5-11600k or AMD Ryzen 5 5600X with 16 GB of RAM and NVIDIA RTX 2080 TI or AMD RX 6800 XT.

Players will get a chance to test which mode suits them best when Forza Motorsport launches for PC and Xbox Series X|S on October 10.
