Game Boy Pokémon in 3D

Artist Cort turns classic Pokémon pixel art into neat 3D models.

The artist has been recreating the original Game Boy Pokémon sprites for a while. The works look identical to the original versions, but you can study them in 3D thanks to Blender.

The artist is using a specific compositor node setup in Blender to set up his models. Yes, these are actually 3D models. You can get a look at the Cort's setup below:
