Gearbox Is Auctioning Off Randy Pitchford's Shirts

A number of garments have been auctioned off to raise funds for a "developer scholarship."

Gearbox fans certainly know that colorful shirts are pretty much an integral part of Randy Pitchford's image. And recently, the co-founder of Gearbox Software decided to share some of them by putting them up for an auction.

According to Gearbox's announcement, a number of garments have been auctioned off to raise funds for a "developer scholarship."

The auction app Bid Beacon now offers 47 shirts, each with an estimated value of $400. Some of the shirts have already been bid on, according to the platform, however, the bids are all hidden, so it is unclear how much people are willing to pay for them.

According to the information on Gearbox's website, the company has programs to support students offering several scholarships including August Haydock Memorial Student Scholarship, Robert and Geraldine Anderssen Classrom Scholarship, and Gearbox Labs Educator Scholarship. However, the company didn't specify what specific grants the auction money will go towards.

The auction will last until September 9, when it will probably become known how much some of the shirts were sold for.

If you wish to take part in the auction, visit its Bid Beacon page here. Also, don't forget to join our Reddit page and our Telegram channel, follow us on Instagram and Twitter, where we share breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
