At The Game Awards 2023, Santa Monica Studio and Sony Interactive Entertainment announced Valhalla, a new DLC for their 2022 action-adventure game God of War Ragnarök. 

This expansion takes players on a deeply personal and reflective journey with Kratos to Valhalla, exploring a future he never thought possible. Santa Monica states that the DLC seamlessly blends the cherished combat mechanics of God of War Ragnarök with fresh elements inspired by the roguelite genre.

Upon its release, the DLC will be offered for free, requiring the base game, God of War Ragnarök. Valhalla is set to arrive on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in just a few days, landing on December 12, 2023.
