Guide: Creating a Photoreal Interior

Yet another great tutorial from the Gnomon team.

The Gnomon Workshop shared Creating a Photoreal Interior, a new paid tutorial on setting up interior environments in Maya with tips and tricks from Digital Domain look dev and lighting lead Adrien Vallecilla.

The six-hour video explains a workflow for laying out, modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering and compositing a photorealistic interior in detail.

You will learn how to create an interior scene from the point of view of visual effects work using the tools used in VFX production pipelines.

First, you will block out the scene and model base objects in Maya, then sculpt details in ZBrush and texture the assets in Mari. You will deal with lighting and look development in Maya, then render your scene in Arnold.
