The game promises to recreate the films pretty closely.
If you're a Harry Potter fan, you might be curious if Hogwarts in the upcoming Hogwarts Legacy game is what you've seen before in the movies. ElAnalistaDeBits got the same question and published a great video comparing the cinematic school with the one Avalanche Software recreated. The results are impressive – locations look pretty much the same, with some adjustments.
You can see from the outside that the game's Hogwarts is bigger, with towers and buildings that don't exist in the films. The classrooms are also more spacious, providing space for players to move.
You can see the Great Hall, the Quidditch pitch, and even some places outside the castle, like the Gringotts bank.
Overall, the video proves that the developers tried really hard to painstakingly recreate everything fans know about the Harry Potter universe.
Whether or not it applies to other areas we will know on February 10, when Hogwarts Legacy comes to all major platforms.
