SideFX has shared a preview of the upcoming update to Houdini.

Houdini 18 will introduce a new feature called Solaris for layout, lookdev, and lighting. It is said to present huge possibilities for artists. 

The new version will also bring updates to Vellum, fluids, pyro, destruction, and modeling. The video above is just a quick look, and it doesn't unveil all the details, but it appears that the new update is going to be incredible.
