Houdini Experiment: Predicting Future Nodes

Check out an interesting tool experiment from Paul Ambrosiussen.

Technical artist Paul Ambrosiussen shared an experiment with the Houdini workflow he made for the sake of learning.

The idea is to see if he could predict future nodes based on the nodes he has already created. The nodes predicting workflow looks quite simple: select a node, press shift + V, and you’ll get your predicted nodes. The shift + V combination will run the tensor flow that will use behavior data.

In the video, he shared his approach to creating the predicting nodes workflow with the previously generated data and a PG graph. Please, note that this experiment isn’t a SideFX project.

Check out his Twitter account for more updates on tools development. Visit Paul’s website for more work.
