Over the past year and a half, the SideFX games team’s Luiz Kruel, Mike Lyndon, and Paul Ambrosiussen have been working hard on Houdini tools that would help game developers. Take a look at a webinar that will walk you through these tools.
The guys have so far created over 90 tools. In this talk, they covered their Top 10. It is also worth noting that this talk includes loads of tips and tricks on using the tools. The talk features details on Skinning Converter, Physics Painter, Impostors, and more.
The funny thing is that the tools were developed with game development in mind, but they turned out to be useful for film, TV and advertising workflows.
