Michael Green will write the script.

A new Deadline report says the BioShock movie adaptation is going to be directed by Francis Lawrence, who has worked on Hunger Games, I Am Legend, and Constantine. Michael Green (Logan, Alien: Covenant, Murder on the Orient Express) will write the script.

The Netflix movie was announced in February when Netflix unveiled its collaboration with Take-Two Interactive and 2K Games to produce an adaptation of the renowned franchise.

Along with Lawrence, Roy Lee will produce the movie through his Vertigo Entertainment for about:blank and 2K. Wxecutive producers are Cameron MacConomy for about:blank and Strauss Zelnick for Take-Two.

Other adaptations that are or will be available on Netflix are Cyberpunk, Dota 2, Resident Evil, Tomb Raider, Beyond Good & Evil, Splinter Cell, Dragon Age, Tekken, Horizon, and, of course, The Witcher.
