Infinitesimals: Indie game about a strange alien vehicle

Polycount Forums is a great way to find new incredible games and witness their production. Recently we’ve come across a great new title called Infinitesimals.

This project started as a sci-fi side-scrolling cinematic platform adventure with a strong emphasis on story, atmosphere and fantastic environments.

However later the game grew into a 1st/3rd person action and now it looks like this. The environments are great, as you can see on the screenshots.

You control a mechanical alien spider-vehicle Ajoxian Gyro (Ajoxian Industrial All terrain Multi-Purpose Gryo Pod to be exact, or AIATMPGP) . The action takes place on a huge planet full of big bugs and some other creatures. There’s also another alien faction that will rival the pilots of this vehicle.

The coolest thing about this project is the vehicle itself that has a lot of interesting movement options. Plus the art looks great.

Unfortunately Infinitesimals is still in the development and it’s impossible to tell, when shall we see the game in Steam. Anyway it’s good to watch this one, since its authors made some great artistic choices.
