iPhone 7: New Camera, A10 Chip & no 3.5 mm Jack

Apple announced its next iPhone, which looks sleek and promises unprecedented power. There’s a new Apple Watch too!

As we all expected (in this day and age, surprises become more of a luxury) Apple showed it’s newest product – iPhone 7. It will be available for pre-order in a couple of days and the whole project will be released on September 16. The price is $649 for 32Gb version (no more 16Gb starter versions). There’s two models available with a big and a bigger screen.

The phone is not equipped with a standard headphone jack. It comes with a pair of earbuds that plug into its Lightning port. There’s also an adapter for your headphones coming with every phone. Apple also designed new wireless AirPods, which look kind of cool and sell for $159.

iPhone 7 is IP67 water-resistant. In order to do this, engineers had to change the home button, which doesn’t click anymore. The phone is also equipped with A10 Fusion processor, better display, upgraded speakers and great cameras. Probably some of the best cameras on mobile devices these days.

As expected the device is running on iOS, which gives you access to a bunch of other useful features. Overall the device looks nice and feels like a nice step up. What do you think? Are you going to buy one for you development purposes?
