J.J. Abrams & Infinity Blade devs are building a UE4 spy game

Bad Robot Interactive & Chair Entertainment are building a new cross-platform interactive spy action/strategy.

SPYJINX is a new collaboration of artists from video games, television and film, video game creator ChAIR (Infinity Blade, Shadow Complex), director/producer J.J. Abrams (Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Mission Impossible, Lost) and Bad Robot Interactive (Action Movie FX). And it’s powered by Unreal Engine 4!

The developers plan to create a mix of action strategy gameplay, dynamic world building and RPG elements. The game is set in a treacherous world of espionage. The release of this title is planned for 2016 simultaneously on PC and mobile. If you want to take part in the beta, be sure to sign up.

In a small vido announcement Abrams told that he’s been a fan of ChAIR games for years. Infinity Blade really blew his mind! He wanted to expand in this area of interactive entertainment and that’s how Bad Robot Interactive came up with SPYJINX. You can check out the full interview in this video.
