Grafit Studio is happy to invite you to the Artillery 4th Shot Festival on August 31st – September 1st in Saint-Petersburg, Russia.
Founded as a small gathering of friends, colleagues, and enthusiasts it turned to one of the largest events in the area of CG and games industry not only in Russia but also in the whole CIS.
Each year we invite masters of 2D and 3D art from all around the world. This time incredible Feng Zhu, Anna Podedworna, James W Cain, Mauro Belfiore Hicham Habchi and Tomek Radziewicz will share their knowledge and experience, show tips and tricks, explain their way in the industry and simply inspire the audience! Tomek Radziewicz, a traditional sculptor and monster designer, will run a sculpture master class in a special section. Real sculpture exhibition will also take place, where works of local talented sculptors Kate Pilnikova and Vladimir Brodarsky will be presented.
A unique program of the Festival combines all kinds of creative activities in one place: lectures, master-classes, life drawing sessions, workshops, on-spot art challenges and other interactives which will leave no one bored.
This year you will also have a chance to take part in a brand-new project and become the first to get a real gold statuette and put your name on it. Grafit Studio & Artillery event are proud to announce the first Artillery Art Awards! The main prize for the winners is the Award statuette. It took about a year to design it and six months to sculpt and polish it up. The materials used for each statuette are gold, bronze, and stone. The main idea of the figure is the artist’s hand and the metaphor of transformations that a creator is going through while creating art.
Every figure will be made specifically for the Award winner and will have an engraved name on it, as well as sculptor’s stamp and foundry mark.

Moreover, the winner will receive 1000 EUR in cash.
Another part to make us proud is the Jury board. Feng Zhu, Karla Ortiz, Greg Rutkowski, Even Mehl Amundsen, Piotr Jablonski – to name the few. Very different artists from all over the world loved and respected by many, are going to pick one applicant to name them the best digital illustrator of 2019. It may be you!
