Konami Forgot to Renew the "Silent Hill" Internet Domain

Someone else, however, was quick to acquire it.

Konami, the developer and publisher behind the iconic Silent Hill franchise, has apparently forgotten to renew the game's internet domain, losing access to it and allowing anyone to acquire it. Back in December 2019, a similar situation had happened, but back then, Konami managed to rapidly re-acquire the domain. This time, however, someone else was quick on their feet and got the domain, seemingly for comedic purposes only.

As for right now, the website displays a tweet published by Masahiro Ito, Art Director of Silent Hill 2, which states that the artist, to put it mildly, is not very happy with being a designer of the Silent Hill franchise's most recognizable character. The reason why Masahiro is so displeased with the fact is unknown, the only certainty is that it isn't about the money.
