Fable was a very good game, the developers of which overpriced a bit (which is an understatement). With Peter Molyney having his own studio now, former Fable creators decided to return to the familiar formula and build an RPG experience, where you grow old, have kids and enjoy various adventures.

Their new game is called Kynseed. It’s a pixel art project, which draws a lot from the original Fable as well as more recent games like Stardew Valley. You start as a little boy, go for adventure, plant corn and potatoes, gather your harvest, gather apples, produce bacon (out of poor pigies) and go to various adventures. The game is serene and looks absolutely gorgeous, although the final version may get even better.

The developers filled the world with various details, like seasons, superstitions and even tiny character traits for every NPC. However, they still need time and to finish the development. So far their Kickstarted campaign has only raised 8.5k pounds, but the team needs at least 30k. Luckily there’s still 25 days to go, so everything will, hopefully, work out.
