The second season for the critically acclaimed adventure game is in the works. LiS sold 3 million copies.

Dontnod Entertainment released a nice little video, talking about the success of Life is Strange. The developers say that the amazing adventure title has sold over 3 million copies (1 season). With this incredible financial (and critical success), the team decided to move Life is Strange to the next season. There’s no information on when can we see the sequel and what it’s going to be about.

Life is Strange was one of the most artistic games we’ve played last year. Its visual style was designed in a very peculiar way: every texture had that hand-painted watercolor look, which made the environments feel very similar to the original concept art. We’ve actually talked with Life is Strange concept artist Edouard Caplain last year. He discussed the production of the original game a little bit.

We’ve also published a huge post about the environment storytelling in Life is Strange. It’s mostly images, but it gives you the idea of how beautiful this cinematic game actually looks.

We really hope to hear more about Life is Strange: Season 2 during E3 2017.
