Megascans Digest: Creating a Shadow Warrior Inspired Scene

Check out 5 Megascans assets that will help recreate an environment from Shadow Warrior 2 or make your own scene inspired by the game.

With a recent announcement of the third game in the Shadow Warrior franchise, we decided to take a look into the game's world and see if we can pick up some assets that will come in handy for the production of fan art or a game-inspired scene. We've focused on the core basics of environments and picked a few organic surfaces that make up the base of the world. Take a look!

1 of 5

1. Dirty Square Tiles

For the ground, we suggest checking out this asset with tiles since there is a lot of combat going on in the yard of temples. The tiles go with a worn-out effect but adding a bit of moss or dead leaves will only help emphasise the mood.

2. Rough Rock Wall

Since the game's plot is happening somewhere in the mountains, we couldn't ignore the rock surface. This one looks pretty similar to the surfaces found in the game and will be a good choice for the foreground and background of the environment.

3. Wooden Floor

If you want to focus on the interior, this wooden floor asset is a must-have for it. It's quite simple and plain but it gives you enough space to customize it up to your needs.

4. Common Fern

It seems that fern is literally everywhere in the game! To keep the realism of the environment, we picked a Common Fern asset. Tweak it as you want, and you're ready.

5. Dead Weed

And for the last one, some scenes in the forest include a lot of dead leaves and weed so we found the asset that will be as close to the game's version as possible. Add it to the rocks, or to the ground to diversify it, and there you are!
