Capcom claims that Monster Hunter: World is the best-selling title in the company’s history. The publisher has shipped over 7.5 million copies. The number of sold copies is not disclosed. We do know that the first 5 million copies were shipped during the first 3 days after the release.

Monster Hunter is a pretty old series, but during its 14-year-old history, this is the first time Monster Hunter game gets a simultaneous worldwide release. The game is already available on PS4 and Xbox One. The project will be later available on PC.
