Morrowind is Coming to The Elder Scrolls Online
1 February, 2017
The Elder Scrolls Online will get a new update called The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind with more than 30 hours of gameplay and the addition of the largest geographic zone since its launch in 2014. You’ll get a chance to dive directly into the Morrowind expansion, visiting beloved parts of the island of Vvardenfell.

The expansion will cost $39.99 and will guide you through a quest of healing the god Vivec. You’ll help him regain his strength and save the world of Tamriel from destruction.

Vvardenfell… utilizes the same geographic footprint as The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind, “including all key points of interest from the classic game. Players will embark on a dangerous journey… 700 years before the events of The Elder Scrolls 3, from the docks of Seyda Neen, to the volcanic Ashlands, to dense, mushroom-filled forests, and through the glory of Vivec City, still under construction in this time period.

The expansion will also present a new class, called The Warden, who is a mighty warrior with a giant War Bear. What is more, there will be a new player-versus-player mode called Battlegrounds.

The update will be released on June 6.
