This was so helpful for me. I'm hoping to adapt your tutorial to pull off something similar comparing modern satellite imagery with historical maps. No topo, so my steps should be simpler, but I'm a novice with Blender and you've really helped. Thanks!
Even Top Notch Artists will be replaced by AI. You have no idea what you are talking about. If you do, only very superficial. At the end you are only an employee. You dont have any contact or experience to the High End Echelons we worked on. In 20 years, 40% of workforce working today will be out of jobs. First we will get worldwide financial crash, then AI takes over. Admin will remember my words in not distance future.
Here are some of the cool new projects from Sketchfab, including some stuff from Jeremy Spagnulo, Malte Resenberger, Egor Gostyshev, and some other talented artists.
Jeremy Spagnulo shared a very neat asset for the “Battle od Astaros” game. The project is produced by Laser Game Evolution. Jeremy was in charge of art direction, concept, modeling and texturing. It was created with the help of Cinema 4D and Substance Painter. Very cool reflecting material, beautiful glass and great asset design. Looks very cool.
Weapon artist Malte Resenberger shared a beautiful German MP40 automatic rifle. A harsh reminder of the dangerous time. Very cool work with the metal texture. A very intricate design of the gun itself. Lots of details. Malte also does a lot of awesome environments, which you can find on his official website.
Here’s a little low poly project from Magma.cgi. Very simple and simple design, painted face, bright textures. Magma is a group of artists, who actually specialize in photogrammetry. Nice to know, that they feel confident with their low poly characters as well.
Igor Puškarić created a very neat sculpt and painted it beautifully. It’s got a fantastic look, dynamic posture and fantastic details. The work was originally published in 2012 but only recently found its place o Sketchfab. You can find some images on Artstation.
Egor Gostyshev shared his beautiful work, which he submitted to the Ancient Civilizations: Lost & Found contest on Artstation. The Duke has some beautiful work in Substance Painter and some glorious little details. Inspired by an amazing concept by Florian Coudray. Make sure to check out some of his other works as well.
Christian Henkel did a wonderful model of the Colt Defender in action. The greatest thing about this project is a number of details and very nice metallic materials. Very cool brushed metal, some neat reflections. It’s also cool to see the gun in action, where you see a lot of different interesting elements.
Zachary Hixson took a beautiful concept at by Alexandra Semushina and took part in a little challenge by Polycount. He used 3DS Max to make the general outline, added some nice textures (Substance Painter, Photoshop). Very colorful work. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see this asset somewhere in World of Warcraft.
Carlos Aquintero shared the characters of Lily & Snout. You might have seen this duo in his recent short, which is available at Sketchfab. As far as we understand, this was a collaboration, so Carlos wasn’t the only creator here. These creatures are also beautifully animated and feature some beautiful modeling and material work.
Finally, Gameloft shared a few their beautiful models. In particular, we’ve seen a new Iron Blade – Hellforged Armor model. With animation, low poly model and dark red textures. Looks fantastic.
If you’ve seen some work, which should be on the list, please add them in the comments.
