At SIGGRAPH 2019 in Los Angeles, California, Epic Games will demonstrate how trailblazers across VFX and animation are using Unreal Engine to revolutionize the art of filmmaking with new virtual production techniques and on-the-fly ray tracing for final pixels in real-time. Throughout the conference, Epic will highlight new Unreal Engine features that enable artists to push the boundaries of photorealism in real-time environments in feature film, broadcast, VFX, animation, games, design visualization and new immersive projects.
Kicking off the conference, Epic will host an open-to-the-public User Group Meeting on Monday, July 29th at the Orpheum Theater in Downtown LA, with drinks, food trucks, and networking opportunities. Attendees will also enjoy a full lineup of programming, with speakers from ILMxLAB, Walt Disney Imagineering, Digital Domain, Framestore, The Third Floor, Halon Entertainment, Quixel, Stargate Studios, Cine Tracer, HOK and Epic Games, with presentations displaying a range of recent projects powered by Unreal Engine.

At booth #1319, Epic will be exhibiting the latest features and upgrades for Unreal Engine, with demos to showcase advancements in real-time and virtual production workflows.
Epic will also be hosting a series of Tech Talks on Wednesday, July 31st in meeting room 405 of the Los Angeles Convention Center. Sessions with the Unreal Engine development team will include:
