Awesome breakdown Simon!
What is your dream career? Have you ever thought about working on The Legend of Zelda? Nintendo is now looking for a level designer to work on the legendary series. The best candidate will join the company’s Kyoto headquarters.
The designer is supposed to work on dungeons, the game’s map, cutscenes and design enemies. Nintendo needs someone with experience as a game planner.
It is, of course, crucial for a candidate to know Japanese, and the studio will probably hire a person already living in Japan.
In order to get the job, you’d need to go through the screening process, a “practical test,” and two interviews. It is also worth noting that this is just a contract position. The salary is said to range from $34,766 to $74,107 depending on the designer’s abilities. The studio will also take care of a housing allowance, a moving allowance, and daily transportation fees.
