Nintendo’s newest console seems to be really fun to play. It has our favorite AAA titles like Skyrim and features tons of ways to play them. Nintendo Switch also presents great graphics and incredible performance, so the question is: what is inside this new console?

First of all, the announced console is powered by the performance of the custom Tegra processor with an NVIDIA GPU. Nintendo’s console is also stated to be supported by fully custom software, including a revamped physics engine, new libraries, advanced game tools and libraries. NVIDIA additionally created new gaming APIs, NVN, to bring lightweight, fast gaming to the masses. Gameplay will be also enhanced by hardware-accelerated video playback and custom software for audio effects and rendering.

We’ve optimized the full suite of hardware and software for gaming and mobile use cases. This includes custom operating system integration with the GPU to increase both performance and efficiency.

In other awesome news, it is stated that Unreal Engine 4 support is officially confirmed for Switch. Epic Games, the engine’s creator, was mentioned as one of the system’s partners.
