@alex if i had to guess, they just finished two back-to-back AAA games in the same franchise and some people are seeing it as a good time to transition without burning bridges? aka business as usual?

Derjyn it is really hard to understand your motivation of commenting. I bought the material and it *highly* satisfied my needs. No Man's Sky Becomes Sony's Second Biggest PS4 Launch

No Man’s Sky has officially become Sony’s second biggest ever PlayStation 4 launch, according to Chart-Track. The only game that showed better results is Naughty Dog’s Uncharted 4.


It is also stated that the newest space hit is only fifth behind Destiny (PS4), Watch Dogs (PS4), The Getaway (PS2) and The Last of Us (PS3) in terms of new IP across all publishers and Sony formats.

It’s an astonishing success for Hello Games’ No Man’s Sky, which has also become the biggest game release on Steam in 2016 as of this moment. At the time of release No Man’s Sky had 46,485 people playing concurrently.
