If you have any pirated Microsoft games look out, because Windows can disable those games from your computer. Let’s just hope your whole library doesn’t consist of pirated games.
With an updated Microsoft Services Agreement comes changes to the terms for Xbox, Xbox live, and Windows Games that are published by Microsoft. The clause says:
We may automatically check your version of the software and download software updates or configuration changes, including those that prevent you from accessing the Services, playing counterfeit games, or using unauthorized hardware peripheral devices. You may also be required to update the software to continue using the Services.
Don’t worry though, these new terms don’t mean that there will be a full on cleanse of your computer from whatever “not so legal” softwares you may have. It just means that any Xbox and Windows Games that are published by Microsoft are going to need verification for authorization. Let’s see what is in the future of Microsoft.
