Quadro Delta has officially launched its new game Pixel Privateers. They are backed by Re-Logic, who’s mostly known for the Terraria series.
Pixel Privateers looks a little similar to Terraria, but the whole concept and game mechanics are completely different. Developers describe this game as a Squad Based Tactical RPG “Loot ‘Em Up”.
You control a team of mercenaries through a mysterious wormhole. Your main goal is to gather technology for your employer. There’s a lot of full of worlds to explore, factions to encounter, and epic gear to collect. The game is very loot-oriented, user-customizable, and multiplayer driven (but you can also go solo).
The game is available for Mac and PC right now. Looks like a very interesting twist on traditional strategy genre.
