Play Overwatch For Free on Any Platform

PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One users can get a taste of the game for one weekend of Nov. 18-21 at no charge.

Blizzard’s newest hit called Overwatch will become free to play on PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One for one weekend of Nov. 18-21.

Free weekend will give access to all 22 heroes and 13 maps available now, including Quick Play, Custom Games and the Weekly Brawl. For new players interested in picking up the game after the free weekend Also note that when the free weekend trial is over, any progress made during the period will be right there when you launch your own purchased copy. 

Four different game modes will attract new players: Assault, Escort, Assault/Escort and Control. 12 players will battle in a 6v6 format. We’re not sure if the competitive mode will be available. 

It is also worth noting that you will need a PlayStation Plus membership, Xbox Live Gold membership or Battle.net account to play the arena game. The awesome weekend starts at 11 a.m. PT on Nov. 18 and ends at 4 p.m. ET on Nov. 21.
