Am I tripping? I Always thought "pixel art" was based on those 8-bit old games, with hard pixels and little shapes to form scenes. THis is NO PIXEL ART in my conception, but mere digital images.

PS4 has a lot of advantages. The console features a lot of great AAA-games, a vast library of indie titles and various multimedia opportunities. Sony also provides PlayStation Plus membership service, which opens access to free games, sales and multiplayer options.

We are sincerely grateful that gamers across the globe have continued to choose PS4 as the best place to play since launch two years ago. We are committed to bringing engaging games and entertainment services to users worldwide. Thanks to the support of our partners, PS4 continues to be the premier platform for game and interactive entertainment innovation.

Andrew House, President and Global CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment Inc.

While everything seems to be all right, there are some rumors that Sony might be closing the doors for indie developers. PlayStation Store is already overflowed with small indie games and there’s no telling how much more the platform is willing to take.

Sony is actually making a huge step into VR as well. Some analysts believe the company will be able to make its PlayStation VR one of the biggest competitors in this category. We’ll just have to wait and see, but judging by the sales so far, Sony might sell millions of its virtual reality headsets in 120+ countries all over the world.
