Savage unveiled Procreate 5 which brings an all-new Brush Editing Studio, Animation Assist, Color Dynamics, CYMK profiles, and more.

The latest version is powered by Valkyrie, the new lightning-fast graphics engine with the power to combine brushes into new custom Dual Brushes (over 150 brush settings). There’s also the ability to import your favorite Photoshop brushes into Procreate for the first time. Procreate 5 is said to take Apple Pencil to new heights with the ability to simultaneously set pressure and tilt to hundreds of brush variables, enabling artists to create a brush for any task or effect.

The update introduces the all-new Brush Studio for artists to take advantage of a new full-screen brush editing experience that makes crafting brushes easy. There’s a built-in graphically accelerated texture generator to create any brush they need in seconds.

You can also improve your workflow while maintaining total focus on the canvas with the new floating Color Picker. The team has redesigned Procreate’s transform and selection modes for added visibility over the canvas.

Please note that Procreate 5 is still under development and will include a host of additional features yet to be revealed. You can learn more here.
