Travis Davids crafted an awesome shader, which helps you to fill your scenes with awesome 3d rain. It costs $4.
If you like to purchase cool and useful assets on Gumroad, you probably know Travis Davids. He crafted a bunch of great stuff, which we constantly report on. This time though, Travis outdid himself. Most recently he uploaded a great little new surprise – a realistic animated drop material, created with Cinema 4D and Octane Render.
Travis says that this sequence can be applied onto any 3D geometry surface. To use it, you need to make sure that the 3D program you are utilizing, can use image sequences. If you’re not into animation, you can still get access to 479 unique raindrop frames that you can use as still images by adding them to the bump. As you can see, this is more of a project for CGI and less for real-time rendering.
