Realistic Greece-Inspired 3D Environment Set Up in UE5

All of the scene's assets were made from scratch using 3ds Max, Substance 3D software, SpeedTree, and photogrammetry data.

3D Environment/Prop Artist Tim Nickel has showcased Advostós Fishing Village, an impressive rural Greece-style scene with a realistic day/night cycle. Made to explore a flexible approach that would allow the artist to turn the environment into an open world setting, the scene was set up in Unreal Engine 5 using custom-made assets, created by Tim using 3ds Max, Substance 3D Designer/Sampler, SpeedTree, and photogrammetry data captured with RealityCapture. Additionally, the creator utilized UE5's Lumen to create various lighting scenarios.
