Recreating a Swiss Scenery with Megascans Assets

For this week's digest, we've chosen another atmospheric photo of Switzerland for you to recreate and picked some assets that will work well for the basement of the scene. Go check them out!

1. Cracked Asphalt

For the road, we've picked the most basic yet believable asset with some cracks on it. We've also paid attention to the actual color of the road - this ashy grey cracked asphalt should match the scene perfectly!

2. Icelandic Moss

This Icelandic moss asset looks almost identical to the real hillside from the photo, so we thought this would be a great choice if you want to recreate the scene as closely as possible to the real one.

3. Corrugated Metal Sheet

the asset for the roof might be a bit tricky task to do. You still need to keep the outworn look caused by the weather conditions and also find the right color tone. There is no exactly the same metal sheet asset in the library, but this corrugated metal material will help bring the similarity to your scene.

4. Stone Wall

You might get as creative as you want with the walls of the house and there are plenty of other assets for it in the library. We've chosen this one since it does remind a lot of the real wall with its pale color tones and rough surface.

5. Wooden Planks

And last but not least, the facade planks. This asset has the wooden planks with the wear-and-teak look, peeling paint, and some cracks on them. Just change the color if you want, and there you go!
