Thanks a lot ! Did you give some masterclass of something ?

How is the Clovers sit on top between tiles? for mine, blend modes doesnt seem to be working... they follow the height of the tiles which results in extreme distortion of clovers following the height changes of tiles

Red Alert 2 Remake in Unreal Engine

News
A talented UE4 developer Ádám Horváth has presented something that might give you goosebumps. He used the original C&C: Red Alert 2 to build a VR version with the help of Unreal Engine 4 and mighty HTC Vive.

Take a look at the footage below:

Gameplay video using HTC Vive in room scale mode

I’d like to share my latest personal project. It’s proof of concept VR RTS based on the original C&C: Red Alert 2 game.

Since I got my HTC Vive, I was wondering how cool it would be to play C&C: Red Alert 2 in VR on a large room sized plotting table.

So I decided to make it …

… and yes, I was right it’s awesome!

3D buildings and units were modeled by Sly_Fox, based on the original 2D assets of Red Alert 2. Gameplay is provided by OpenRA (RA2 mod).

We’ll be looking forward to getting more details on the progress of this project. Stay tuned.

Incredible, I love this so much. I’m glad someone out there decides to go make older games like this in newer engines. Great work!
