Redshift 3.0.51 Gets a New UI Design

Check out a new update for Maxon's Redshift.

Maxon has released Redshift 3.0.51, an updated version of their GPU-accelerated, biased renderer for 3ds Max, Blender, Cinema 4D, Houdini, and Maya. Redshift is a powerful GPU production renderer, built to meet the specific demands of contemporary high-end production rendering. Redshift offers a suite of powerful features and integrates with industry-standard CG applications.

The main new feature that Redshift 3.0.51 brings is Redshift Easy, an improved interface design intended to simplify workflow. New users get Basic mode, which presents only a simplified set of core render settings. Existing users can switch to Advanced mode to access the full range of settings.

Redshift’s new Blender integration plugin also gets a sizeable update. The new version adds support for OSL shaders, UDIM textures, Blender’s native Generated image, and the use of image sequences as textures.
