Remedy Entertainment now working hard to release its upcoming supernatural adventure game called Control, but there’s more to wait for. The studio is said to be building a third team to develop something “a bit different”.

PCGamesInsider.biz met the team at Gamescom to find out that their studio is creating a new studio to work on an unknown game, according to Remedy communications chief Thomas Puha. So, one team is focused on the upcoming release of Control, and the second is developing the story mode for Smilegate-developed military shooters CrossFire HD and CrossFire 2.

“We’re a multi-project studio, we’re slowly building a third team. With Control, it’s redefining Remedy again. We made two very linear story-driven games and again we’re going to have the story but in a game that’s a lot more adventurous,” Puha pointed out. “Hopefully, it’s something we can keep building more in the years to come. I feel very good about it. As a company, we’re in a very good place.”

The plan here is to release more games across more platforms, so we can’t wait to hear more from the studio. Make sure to share your thoughts on the news in the comments below.
