Riot Games Showed Arcane's Animation Test Made in 2015

The short animation was made by Fortiche Production to show their skills.

Riot Games, the creators of the League of Legends universe, has released an impressive animation test for Arcane, made by Fortiche Production all the way back in 2015. The animation shows a stylish fight between Vi and Jayce, set on the rooftops of Piltover, and demonstrates very early designs of Arcane's environments, characters, and visual effects.

Riot Games commented that this animation had been produced by the Arcane team to show their skills and prove that they are capable of creating "something special".

This animation had already been partly demonstrated before in Riot's recently-released Arcane: Bridging the Rift, Part 1, the first episode of their documentary on the series. The new 5-part documentary tells the story of the show, covering all the steps from its concepts to the final release on Netflix in November 2021. Only one episode has been released so far, with four more yet to be the uploaded in the coming weeks.
