I hope he won't commit any crimes after this humiliation.
Robots are slowly moving into our lives, appearing in shopping malls, airports, and even police stations. One such hero has recently disarmed a criminal in the most humiliating way possible.
In 2017, Felix Delarosa was sentenced to 20 years in prison for manufacturing and delivering a controlled substance, as reported by KCBD. He was released on parole in 2022 but has recently violated it by tampering with his monitoring device and locked himself in a room at Lubbock Days Inn in Texas.
The SWAT team sent the Lubbock Regional Bomb Squad Robot to help take Delarosa into custody, and it did its job in an unexpected way. Despite Delarosa throwing a sheet over it, the robot deployed tear gas into the room, making the criminal get out of there. Then, it disabled Delarosa by running over him and pulling his pants off in the process.

I don't know how much the robot weighs, but to me, it looked like the criminal was more shocked by its audacity than anything else. We have the operator controlling the machine to thank for these shots of justice.
Delarosa was taken to University Medical Center for his injuries and then booked into the Lubbock County Detention Center at a bond of $403,500.
