Scanline VFX set all 7 studios across the globe to work from home now due to the pandemic.
All 650 employees of Scanline VFX work remotely, and that makes Scanline VFX a completely remote VFX studio. The working process hasn’t stopped with the new changes, moreover, the company is open for new projects to start.
Company president Stephan Trojansky talked to AWN and commented on the situation: "The rapid transition to home setups was made possible due to Scanline’s extensive decade-long experience with Teradici’s PCoIP technology, which forms the infrastructure backbone of all Scanline studios. This technology transfers moving screen pixel data from the employee’s workstation in our data center directly to their monitors at home, representing one of the highest security standards in the industry. Employees working from home experience the same performance and playback just as they would in a physical studio setting".
