Toby Lewin is a generalist TD at DNED. He finished the Gnomon School of Visual Effects and has been working in VFX for 10 years. He's been a part of the production team of such projects like Star Citizen, The Avengers, and Prometheus.

For this fan art, he was inspired by Blade Runner and Ghost in the Shell universes. Blade Runner is a sci-fi non-fiction franchise based on the novel by Phillip Dick "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?". The novel was shown in several comics and films, including Blade Runner 2049 and recently announced Blade Runner: Black Lotus that will be released in 2021. 

Ghost in the Shell is a well-known Japanese cyberpunk science fiction franchise based on the manga created by Masamune Shirow. The story was also adapted in animated series directed by Kenji Kamiyama. This year, the new animated series will be released on Netflix.
