A small independent studio Ebb Software has finally launched a Kickstarter campaign for their upcoming game Scorn.
Ebb Software was founded in 2013. Currently, the team has about 20 people, including 3d artists Nikola Milicevic, Lazar Stojanovic, Igor Jovanovic, Sinisa Milosavljevic, Milan Tomic, Aleksandar Zec, Filip Pantic, Milos Vukovic. Together these guys are creating one of the most grotesque, gory, moody and horrifying H.R. Geiger-inspired games, you’ve ever seen.
The official description states:
Think of Scorn as Myst, created by David Cronenberg with a little help from Ozzy Osborne. Or at least smth like that. It’s a game about strange places and revolting creatures. Good thing that at least you can grab a funny-looking shotgun and shoot the enemies in the face.
The environment art in this game is phenomenal. It’s incredibly intricate, very bloody and really interesting to explore. We’d love to explore this place a little further if we find the courage to do so. All the storytelling happens in-game. There are no cutscenes. The team coded a lot of events and key information into the environment itself.
