Capcom has published a collection of official screenshots demonstrating the looks and controls of Resident Evil 4 Remake and Resident Evil Village running on Apple devices.

In case you missed the news, Apple recently held a Wonderlust Event where they officially introduced the iPhone 15 series, including the Pro and Pro Max models. These new models come equipped with the cutting-edge A17 Pro chip, described by Apple as their most significant GPU redesign to date. It boasts six cores and impressive ray tracing capabilities.

The GPU was then revealed to be capable of natively running AAA games, and titles such as Resident Evil 4 Remake, Resident Evil Village, Death Stranding Director's Cut, and Assassin's Creed Mirage are set to become playable on Apple devices in the near future. In addition to the iPhone 15 Pro, Capcom confirmed that their Resident Evil titles will also be accessible on iPads and Macs equipped with the M1 chip.

The announcements, however, didn't stop there, as Capcom treated fans to a sneak peek of the upcoming iOS versions of Resident Evil 4 Remake and Resident Evil Village by sharing a series of behind-the-scenes screenshots and official artwork and showcasing the games' graphics and controls:

What's more, according to Axios' Stephen Totilo, Resident Evil titles will be free-to-start on Apple devices, allowing the player to experience the intro free of charge, and will support game controllers and offer touch-screen controls:

Earlier, some journalists got the chance to test out the iOS version of Village, saying that the game can run smoothly at 30 FPS on the iPhone 15 Pro and maintain the framerate without any noticeable drops.

The release of Resident Evil Village, the remake of Resident Evil 4, and Death Stranding on the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max should happen before the end of 2023. Assassin's Creed Mirage will be released on iPhone in the first half of 2024.
