Trying to steal Vray's thunder.
I'm gonna wait for Steam version
We live in strange times, when big publishers like Sony, Microsoft and Ubisoft are trying to help smaller teams to get their games out there.
For example today we’ve learned that the wonderful stylized exploration adventure title ‘Sea of Solitude‘ joined the EA Originals program (alongside Fe). The project’s lead Cornelia Geppert talked a little about the project in this video.
Sea of Solitude is not technically a new game. It was announced last year. The game has a very vivid visual style with a very interesting stylized look. Most recently the developers released a series of awesome gifs and immediately caught the attention of the press and community.
You play as Kay. She travels around a strange flooded world and tries to put together the pieces of the lost places. There are some enemies, some nice weather effects and lots of other cool things.
“Sea of Solitude is by far the most artistic and personal project I’ve ever created. At times it is very challenging to dig that deep into your own feelings like core fears, longing and anger, but at the same time it is the most fulfilling thing to express those very feelings by putting it to people through art.”
