Sketchfab announced that they now have over 4 million members in their vibrant and diverse community. To celebrate the milestone, they shared a model you can study in 3D, VR, and AR.
The team launched Sketchfab in Paris, France, in early 2012. They saw 3D creators spending hours on creating 3D models, and sharing boring screenshots without a better solution to present their art, so they decided to launch a powerful toolkit. "Our community quickly grew to a fruitful mix of artists, designers, architects, hobbyists, engineers, brands, museums, game studios, schools and more."
