Sony Acquired Insomniac Games for $229M

Sony's financial report revealed all acquisitions of the company, including the price of Insomniac Games.

According to Sony’s financial report, the price for Insomniac Games is 229 million U.S. dollars. The acquisition was mainly paid in cash. The final amount can be changed by the end of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2020. Insomniac Games is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sony now.

Insomniac Games was founded in 1994 by Ted Price and has worked on such big titles as The Unspoken, Ratchet & Clank, Song of the Deep, and Feral Rites.
