Sony To Close Its Studio In Manchester

Sony announced that it will close its VR studio in Manchester, UK.

Sony’s spokesman told Gameindustry.biz that the company will close its Manchester studio.

The aim of it is 'to close it as part of our efforts to improve efficiency and operational effectiveness'.

The studio was found in 2015 and has been working on the unknown VR project. 

Earlier this year, Sony officially stated that it won’t take part in E3 due to differences in company and conference’s goals. This is going to be the second time in a row when Sony doesn’t attend the conference.
