Space Hulk – Deathwing Comes Out December 14th

This is one of the most interesting takes on the rich dark universe of Warhammer 40k.

Every artist, who works with 3d games, loves Warhammer 40k. Well, if you don’t love it, at least you know this thing exists. I won’t go into detail and tell you how rich, sick and intoxicating this world is. Probably one of the best space opera universes ever created. This month thanks to the almighty Emperor and Streum On Studio we get our very own W40k FPS.

The game is called Space Hulk: Deathwing. It’s about the team of the 1st Company of the Dark Angels, which prepares to board the gigantic, Genestealer-infested Space deposited in Imperial space by the uncaring tides of the Warp. The project is based on the classic Space Hulk boardgame.

The game is powered by Unreal Engine 4 and features a very intense gameplay. There’s lots of shooting, some amazing guns and gadgets, gore and outstanding architecture. Seriously though, if you are into level design and environment art, and you love dark gloomy stuff, check out this game. It’s got impressive virtual spaces with astonishing level of detail.

The solo campaign is co-written by Black Library author and Dark Angels specialist Gav Thorpe. There’s also a co-op for 4 players. Space Hulk: Deathwing will be available on PC on December 14th.
