Springy: A New Plugin for Cinema 4D

Meet Springy, an auto-overlapping tool made by Orestis Konstantinidis.

Back in July, a 3D and UX Designer Orestis Konstantinidis has released Springy – a powerful animation plugin that can be used to add the non-destructive overlap to animated objects in Cinema 4D. Springy can be used directly on objects with keyframes, objects without keyframes (e.g. children of animated objects), and objects driven by expressions. The plugin allows you to control the overlap with separate Position and Rotation control, exclude individual channels, and fade it with Per Object Strength falloff. Multiple Springy Objects can be used simultaneously or even layered together on the same objects.

Features:

  • Ease of use: Just select your objects and create Springy
  • Different Modes: Spring, Smooth, Spring & Smooth
  • In hierarchies, work Cumulatively or Individually
  • Work in Global or Local Space
