Substance 3D Modeler Received A New Outliner Interface Panel

The latest update introduces a scene Outliner for better organization, a new Export mode for more control, and the ability to set subdivision levels on import.

Designed for efficient navigation for complex projects, the Outliner panel was originally introduced in Substance 3D Modeler 1.10.5 beta and made it to the latest stable version of the software.

Now, you can use the Outliner to get an overview of the hierarchy of objects in your scene or rearrange, rename, and select objects from a single location.

A new Export tab has also been brought over from the beta, allowing you to have more control over exporting 3D models. Change your selection to quickly export multiple separate objects from your scene and use the Select tool to group objects, unlink them, or modify your scene's hierarchy.

Also, now you can set subdivision levels when importing 3D models.

Other Substance 3D Modeler 1.11 updates include minor changes to the tools with the new Raise tool, which works similarly to the Inflate tool but does a better job of maintaining surface details.
